One framework, delivered four ways.
Everything the studio makes runs on Patternomics™ — a behavioral-pattern framework published with a DOI (Zenodo: 10.5281/zenodo.21040834) and currently under journal peer review.
Programs
A complete, pilot-ready program for veteran-serving organizations and recovery programs — workshops, curriculum kits, and train-the-trainer.
Packages →Curriculum
Classroom SEL curriculum for schools, built from the kids' storyworld Bob & the Blobs™.
Preview →Publishing & licensing
Original IP across books, screen, curriculum, and products, available for rights and licensing partnerships.
Rights →How the studio earns.
Revenue comes from services and licensing: facilitated workshops and keynotes, paid pilots, curriculum site licenses, train-the-trainer certification, and rights/licensing of original IP. Programs are sold to organizations — veteran-serving organizations, recovery programs, schools, nonprofits, and teams.
Where things stand, plainly: Slight Angle Studios, LLC is a California company (formed June 2026). The Patternomics framework is published with a DOI and under journal peer review. Behavioral Bodyguard™ is a complete, pilot-ready program; a VA pilot is in development. A live assessment funnel at slightanglestudios.com is collecting emails and pattern scores. Federal SDVOSB and California DVBE certifications are in preparation.
Built by the person it was built for.
Founder Robert James Gustavson is a former airborne combat medic and service-disabled veteran. The method — see the pattern, name it, acknowledge it, redirect it — comes from a medic's discipline of assessing under pressure, and from lived experience of recovery. He built the studio's full catalog of programs, curriculum, and storyworlds before asking anyone to buy one.
Pilot partners wanted.
We're looking for a small number of pilot sites — veteran-serving organizations, recovery programs, schools, and nonprofits. Pilot pricing is available.
